- PPDS Overview with PPT
- Creating Material, Work centre, Work centre formulas, BOM, Recipe, Routing and Production version. A detailed session explaining all the Fields relevant to PPDS.
- Integration Model Generation and Activation. Validating data in APO.
- CIF Error handling, Q monitoring methods, Housekeeping and reconciliation
- Creation of simulation Model, Version and learn the attributes. Copy from version to version of master data and Transaction Data
- Detailed session on Product Master, Location Master, Time stream calendar creation, Resource, PDS and Quota arrangement
- Break Patterns, Shift Definitions, Shift Factors, Shift Sequence and capacity variant creation.
- Validation of created PDS and Change transfer methods with details
- PPDS Configuration setup for PPDS Planning and Scheduling
- Alert creation with desired Thresholds for Product Location and Resources and evaluate alerts interactively
- Single level and multilever planning with 4 different Planning procedures- Manual with check, Manual w/o check, cover dependent requirements immediately and Planning in planning run with bot MRP1 and MRP2 Heuristics. Validation of results in DS Board.
- Order conversion methods from SNP to PPDS
- Interactive planning using Variable Heuristics and behaviour with different parameter settings like FIFO, Avoid Surplus and simulation of various lot sizing procedures including planning with Planning Calendar.
- End to End Configuration, Master data setup and simulation of Subcontracting in PPDS.
- When there are 2 sources of supplies and when both needs to be utilized paralelly, Planners decide the utilization by percentage in Quota arrangement at different periods and at different Plants. In this session 2 source of supply will be used to define percentage and simulate to see the end result over 2 different periods.
- Scheduling methods using Scheduling heuristics and learn Scheduling strategy profile settings. A very details session covering most of the functionalities in the detailed scheduling planning board.
- Creation of Setup Group, Setup keys, Setup Matrix and run Basic Planning and scheduling based on setup Matrix for at least 5 products on one common resource
- PPDS Optimization profile creation and run optimization to see how the initial schedule adheres to Set up Cost maintained in Setup Matrix.
- Multi level Finite Material and Capacity planning with integration with GATP. A sales order driven Functionality with immediate material and capacity planning and scheduling
- Reservation of Capacities for certain Customers with simulation of planning and automatic scheduling at relevant slots through creation of Sales orders. Complete end to end setup and simulation will be shown in the system.
- Plant maintenance are created in ECC which will integrate with PPDS resource master downtimes online/immediately. This will have impact on current schedules or orders and automatic changes takes place on unfirmed orders. As the integration with Plant maintenance does not work in the current Patch level, the config and setup will be shown in the system. But the output in APO will be shown in the pre recorded video.
- Planning in blocks using CDP Classification only Configuration and Master data setup in PPM and Resource master. Entire configuration, Master data setup and scenario simulation in detail eill be demonstrated in the system.
- When an activity can be performed on 2 resources then it calls for maintaining 2 routings/production versions. By using classification only one routing and prod version will be used and the second resource comes to APO as Mode. Detailed setup and simulation will be shown in the system.
- Products in the resource chart needs to be identified by colours. PPDS planning board profile will be configured in such a way that every product can be assigned with the required colours and same will be displayed in the orders on Resource chart.
- Standard PPDS Reports, Run resource utilization and Product planning table attributes
